An historic tour of the southern hills of Lake Garda with a visit in a vinery
This tour through the vineyards of the Malavasi farm, spread over the morainic hills of the Lower Garda, will lead you to discover the places of historical interest and the breathtaking views and the typical peasant flavors of an area rich in events and traditions.
We will start from the cellars where the winemaking procedures of their wines will be illustrated. We will then move by minivan to the different vineyards admiring the panoramas and the agricultural landscape typical of the southern area of Lake Garda. The tour of the vineyards will also be an opportunity to linger in places of historical interest: such as the monumental tower of San Martino, which will give us the opportunity to talk about the bloody military clash that on June 24, 1859 saw the Piedmontese and French armies clash against the Austro-Hungarian one; and the castle of Pozzolengo which will plunge us into the Middle Ages and in the territorial disputes between the various lordships of Verona, Mantua and Milan and the places where Napoleon decreed the end of the Serenissima Republic of Venice
At the end in the company of a traditional peasant family who will make us taste tastes of typical products of the area accompanied by their white and red wines.
In each moment of the excursion our guide will be at your side to illustrate each place and answer your questions.
